A study of primal eroticism, an exploration of the razor-thin line between desire and dread. The tension between intense excitement and paralyzing fear. Directly inspired by the biomechanical, 3D-printed industrial fashion of Marc Feldmann @marcfeldmannstudio and the legacy of H.R. Giger, the piece explores a state of being that is both dangerous and alluring. A mix of natural, organic chaos with rigid mathematical structures, I’ve depicted the human form as it merges with an intrusive, structural extension of itself. A heightened sensory overload, capturing the moment where the thrill of the “new” crosses over into the terrifyingly unknown.
